Farm Reclamation Services in Marshville, NC

Keeter Land Management provides farm reclamation services for property owners throughout the Charlotte, NC region and the broader Carolinas. We clear the overgrowth, restore field boundaries, and get the land back to a state where it can be used again.

What Farm Reclamation Covers

We handle the clearing of overgrown pastures, neglected fields, and farm acreage that has been left unmanaged. Using forestry mulching equipment, we remove brush, briars, invasive vegetation, and encroaching tree lines that have taken over open land. The result is cleared, accessible acreage that is ready to be put back into use for grazing, crops, or general farm operations.
We also address fence line reclamation as part of farm restoration work, clearing the perimeter so boundaries are visible and functional again.

Pair This Service With

Farm reclamation often goes hand in hand with our Fence Line Clearing service since overgrown pastures typically have buried or damaged perimeter lines that need to be addressed at the same time. If the property has limited vehicle or equipment access, our Access Roads service can open up pathways before or during the reclamation work. For larger properties, Forestry Mulching is the primary method we use and can be extended across the full acreage in a single mobilization.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you reclaim a pasture that has been overgrown for ten or fifteen years?

Yes. Heavily overgrown land is something we deal with regularly. The longer it has been untouched, the more vegetation there is to clear, but that is exactly what the equipment is built for.

In most cases the land will be cleared and accessible, but whether it is immediately ready for grazing or planting depends on what was cleared and the condition of the soil underneath. Some landowners choose to do additional soil work after clearing. We handle the vegetation side of it.

Forestry mulching brings stumps down to or near ground level as part of the clearing process. It is not the same as full stump grinding, but for most farm use the result is functional and workable.

We can work on whatever portion you need addressed. Some clients start with the worst sections and come back for more. Others want the full property done at once. Either way works.

It depends on the acreage and how dense the vegetation is. We can give you a much better estimate once we have had a chance to look at the property.
