A lot of rural properties in this region have one thing in common: the land is there but you cannot reach it. We cut in access roads, driveways, and right-of-way paths through wooded and overgrown terrain so you can actually use the property you own.
A lot of rural and wooded properties in the Charlotte region have the same problem: you own the land but you cannot get to it. Dense vegetation, trees, and uncleared terrain make it impossible to move equipment, vehicles, or even just get from one side of your property to another. That is where we come in.
Keeter Land Management cuts in access roads, driveways, and right-of-way paths for residential landowners, farmers, and commercial property developers throughout Union County and the surrounding area. If you need a road through your land, we can build it.
We handle new access road and driveway clearing through wooded or overgrown terrain. This includes carving out the path, clearing all vegetation in the roadway footprint, and working around or through whatever obstacles are in the way. We also cut right-of-way roads that provide access to utility corridors or remote sections of a property.
Light grading work is available to help level and shape the road base when needed. For more significant grading or road construction, that falls outside our scope, but we can handle the clearing and initial pathway preparation.
We clear paths and driveways for homeowners preparing wooded land for new homes, barns, or future development.
Farmers and landowners use access clearing to reach back acreage, fields, fence lines, and hard-to-access areas.
Developers often need preliminary access roads or cleared entry points before construction and site work can begin.
Cleared access routes make it easier to move vehicles, trailers, tractors, and equipment safely across the property.
Whether you need a simple trail or a wider access corridor, we clear passages based on your property layout and goals.
Access road work naturally pairs with Land Clearing if you are opening up more than just a path — for instance, clearing a site at the end of the road as well. Forestry Mulching is often the method used to clear the road corridor, and it can be extended to the surrounding acreage at the same time. For properties where fire risk is present, a cleared access road also provides emergency vehicle access and can function as part of a broader Wildfire Protection plan.

Yes. That is what this work is designed for. Thick timber and heavy brush are standard conditions for access road clearing. The equipment handles it well.
That depends on what you need. A single-lane access road for a passenger vehicle is different from a path that needs to accommodate large equipment. We will talk through the intended use before the job starts and clear accordingly.
We can do light grading in connection with the clearing work. Significant earthwork or full road construction is outside what we do, but for getting an access path cleared and roughly leveled, we can handle it.
It depends on the length, terrain, and how much vegetation needs to be cleared. A short residential driveway through moderate brush might take less than a day. A longer rural access road through heavy timber takes more time. We can give you a better sense once we look at the property.
Yes. If you have an existing path that needs to be wider, longer, or cleared on the sides, we can do that as well.
